I am a big fan of old drum machines and this was the main reason that I purchased an ESX-SD. What I made was to clear all the factory contents of ESX and programmed a library using samples of followings drum machines: -TR808 -CR78 -R-8 -LINN DRUM -VL-1 +some cromatic instruments such as Bass, Organ, Guitar and Saw Wave. Open Electribe Editor (formerly known as ESX Wave Organizer) is a program that allows you to organize, edit, and create .esx files for the Korg ESX-1. It is actively being developed, and is available for download on Windows, Linux, and Mac. Must have for every Korg Electribe ESX owner.
Small exception to this site: its not freeware. These are VST-editors which can easify loading/saving electribedata automatically and/or control parameters from within your DAW.
